Where’s the party at in FIJI?

We’re taking over Mana Island Resort & Spa. A hidden paradise nestled on a 300 acre lush tropical oasis right in the heart of the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji, 32km West of Nadi.

The island is surrounded with white sandy beaches and crystal clear blue waters providing the most mind blowing platform for the BlueSky Experience.

Can we organise our own accommodation?

The BlueSky Experience is an exclusive island takeover and experience so you’ll need a package to join the party on the island!

Who runs BlueSky FIJI?

BlueSky FIJI is run by TourismHQ (www.TourismHQ.com). TourismHQ is a New Zealand registered travel company which founded ‘BlueSky FIJI’ in 2012.

Is there an age restriction for the BlueSky experience?

Yes, BlueSky FIJI is a 20+ experience. No exceptions.

What is included in the packages?

All packages include flights (unless opted out of after placing down your deposit), accommodation, daily breakfast, transfers, plus our massive line up of entertainment, activities, beach sports and additional unique experiences.

What is not included with the packages?

Packages do not include the likes of domestic travel to Auckland, meals except breakfast, drinks, travel insurance and additional activities.

What addon’s are there?

Underwater Sound System (FREE) – Based off North Beach on Mana Island – dive into the water around our catamaran for some real magic – featuring Murry Sweetpants and Chiccoreli to finish off the set with some stunning liquid.

MALAMALA ($199) – Malamala Beach Club is the world’s first beach club located on its very own island. Your package includes boat transfer, club entrance & FJD$100 to splash on a Malamala’s Pacific-inspired à-la-carte menu and an array of hand-crafted cocktails poolside!

Seventh Heaven ($249) – The jewel of the Crown – Seventh Heaven is a two-level floating platform complete with bar, wood-fired pizza and a 360-degree view of magical turquoise water. We’ll have the decks spinning out there taking it to a whole new level. Your package includes return boat transfers and a FJD$150 bar tab!

The Legendary SandBank Party ($49) – When the tide goes out, we get our own island in the middle of the Pacific! White sand, sound system and DJ decks all setup alongside an epic bar… surrounded by nothing but crystal clear water. This is an experience like no other! $15pp is donated to the Fiji’s Nakelo Trust!

Dîner en Blanc ($159) – Dine in style with an amazing setup on the beach with Mana’s Chefs delivering their magic with a delicious menu for White Night!

Do I need a passport?

Yes, please also ensure there’s at least six months until expiry from the date of your return to New Zealand.

Do I need a visa for Fiji?

NZ, Australian and American citizens are automatically issued tourist visas when you arrive in Fiji. For more clarification on this and details on other national passports visit here.

Do I need travel insurance?

Most definitely! Travel Insurance can cover a range of unforeseen instances that affect travel, such as medical expenses, trip postponement, trip delay or baggage delay, just to name a few!

Search Google for the Travel Insurance that suits you best. 

How do I book?

You can secure your spot with a $50pp deposit @ www.BlueSkyFIJI.com, following payment of this deposit you will receive an email with the option to pay upfront or opt into a monthly or weekly payment plan.

What payment methods are there?

All payments for security purposes are transacted by credit or debit card on your booking.

Can I change the details of those travelling with me?

We provide the ability to change your name, or those travelling with you free of charge up until about six weeks out from departure. No changes can be made post this date. (REMINDER: Make sure you’ve secured travel insurance incase something happens!)

What currency and payment methods are available in Fiji?

All transactions on the island will be in Fijian Dollars. While at the resort you can charge your expenses back to your room and pay this amount via card or with Fiji cash.

What fees should I know about?

Airport Fees: Nil, we have this all covered in your package cost.

Additional Taxes: Nil, we have this all covered in your package cost.

Name change fees: Free of Charge until about six weeks out from departure. After this time (and before within 30 days of travel) , any change to your reservation will incur an administrative fee of NZD $250 (plus fees) per person, per change, to be paid before the changes are confirmed.

No changes can be made within 30 days of travel save as set out below:
Such changes are subject to availability and only upon full agreement by TourismHQ, which is at our sole and absolute discretion.
If your requested change is not available, the normal cancellation policy outlined herein applies.

Card Fees: 2.8% is added on all credit and debit card transactions

Payment Plan Fee: A 9.9% admin fee is added for those opting to pay their balance on a weekly or monthly basis. Only full payments made within 7 days of purchase will not be subject to this payment plan fee.

Cancellation Fees: In order for us to deliver such great deals we are unable to reimburse you. Depending on your circumstances your travel insurance may cover you in such an event.

Is there a fee for checked luggage with the airline?

Our flights for BlueSky include standard check-in and carry-on luggage. Please refer to Fiji Airways website for more information on standard luggage allowances.

Are hotel deposits required?

The resort will require a refundable damage/security deposit that is collected at check-in and returned if there is no damage to your room or outstanding money on your tab. This is done at the time of check-in with a card or if paying in cash a FJ$500 cash bond per person.

What happens if I am late in paying an instalment?

Failure to make timely payments may result in cancellation of your reservation. We provide a seven day window of lenience for payments to go through.

Can I transfer my reservation to someone else?

In most cases, yes, you may transfer your reservation to someone else, free of charge, up until about six weeks out from the trip you can do this online by signing into your account.

Can I extend my trip?

You can opt out of flights altogether and arrange your own travel itinerary to and from Fiji after you’ve placed your deposit down!

When do I receive my travel documents?

We do not send travel documents out – you can log into your account and see your travel airline, dates and times whenever you like. Just turn up at the airport 3 hours before departure with your passport and check in there for your boarding pass.

Does BlueSky FIJI supply chaperones, can we do our own thing?

TourismHQ views its travellers (all 20+) as responsible adults and just like booking with your local travel agent, BlueSky FIJI is your trip so you’re more than welcome to disappear on your own adventure.

The wristbands you’ll be given will provide you access onto Mana Island at any time during our stay.

With that freedom we won’t be chasing you like school teachers, if you go M.I.A… as Mum says “you’re old enough and ugly enough now” – it’s your trip, enjoy!

How do we get from the Airport to the Resort?

All transfers are sorted with your package if you have flights with us. If you have chosen Own Flights, meet us at Port Denarau on arrival day!

Can I plug in my electrical equipment?

Fiji has the same electrical outlets and power supply as in Australia and New Zealand. If you can get it onto the island you can plug it in.
